About Us
Welcome to TASFUEDIS
TASFUEDIS is a co-educational institution and demonstration school of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun. Founded by the Governing Council of the then Tai Solarin College of Education, the school opened officially in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State on 7 October 1996.
Established to provide secondary school education for staff children and members of the general public. From just 8 pioneer students, the school has grown to a recorded population of about 800 students and offers both day and boarding education.

Our Story
Built on a vision for accessible secondary education
A co-educational institution and demonstration school of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun.
Established to provide secondary school education for staff children and members of the general public.

The proposal to establish the school was advanced by the institution's staff unions, with the College of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) taking the lead.

The Governing Council first considered the proposal at its 81st regular meeting on 27 October 1994. A committee chaired by Dr. J. O. Olusanya, later Professor J. O. Olusanya, was asked to review and refine it.

At its 82nd meeting on 22 December 1994, the Council, chaired by Chief L. A. Sofenwa (JP), accepted the committee's report and approved the establishment of the school.

Following provisional approval and confirmation from the State Ministry of Education and Youth Development on 26 June 1996, the school opened officially on 7 October 1996 with eight pioneer students.
Campus & Facilities
The school occupies a spacious parcel of land inherited from the former Ogun State College of Education, with established and modern buildings and facilities. It operates both day and boarding systems.
Educational Community
Its academic and non-academic staff are trained professionals, and its students have represented the school in competitions and national and international examinations.

Government Approval
The State Ministry of Education and Youth Development issued provisional approval and confirmation on 26 June.
1996
School Opened
The school opened officially on 7 October with eight pioneer students and Late Chief A. Adebanjo as pioneer principal.
2007
University Era
Following the transition of the College of Education into a university, the school became Tai Solarin University of Education Secondary School.
2022
Current Leadership Began
Mrs. Adebola Omoyele began serving as principal in January.
